Hello fellow crocheters!
Let me tell you a little bit about free-crochet-patterns.com. More than ten years ago, I started a Dutch crochet website called Haakinformatie.nl, where I still post a new Dutch crochet pattern every single day. Over the years the site grew far bigger than I ever expected, in the best possible way.
But the crochet world is much larger than Dutch patterns alone. There are so many wonderful English designers and free patterns out there. That’s why I launched free-crochet-patterns.com in September 2018.
Along the way I also began creating my own crochet tutorials, especially stitch tutorials, and I now design my own patterns as well. Sharing techniques and helping others learn has become one of my favorite parts of running these websites.
My goal is to build a clear, easy-to-use database full of amazing free English crochet patterns. You can browse by topic on the “Patterns A–Z” page, explore categories, or simply use the search bar. I aim to add new patterns daily. If you’d like to stay updated, feel free to subscribe to the newsletter or follow Free-Crochet-Patterns.com on the socials.
English isn’t my native language, so you may spot the occasional spelling mistake. If you do, don’t hesitate to let me know, we’re all here to learn 🙂
Thanks for stopping by. I hope the patterns, tutorials, and inspiration on this website bring you as much joy as they bring me. Enjoy exploring, learning, and creating.
Happy stitching!
Lisa
