Free Crochet Pattern Cactus 2 of 3
Today I post the pattern of cactus number 2. You can find the pattern of cactus number 1 here and cactus 3 here. Placing the three cacti as a set will look the prettiest of course. I think the Stonewashed yarn makes them look even more realistic.
Supplies
- Crochet hook 3.5 mm
- Scheepjes Stonewashed (Yellow Jasper, Boulder Opal, Canada Jade)
- Sewing needle
- Fiberfill
- Scissors
- Pot with a diameter of 7 cm
- Stitch marker
- Cardboard
- Textile glue

- Round 2: 2 sc in each st (12)
- Round 3: (1 sc, 2 sc in next st) repeat between ( and ) to end of round (18)
- Round 4: (2 sc, 2 sc in next st) repeat between ( and ) to end of round (24)
- Round 5: 1 sc, 2 sc in next st, (3sc, 2sc in next st) repeat between ( and ) to end of round. You will end this round with 2sc (30)
- Round 6: (4 sc, 2 sc in next st) repeat between ( and ) to end of round (36)

Crochet pattern flower cactus 2
- Round 1: In magic ring, 1 sc, 1 picot, repeat until you have 5 petals, finish with a sl st and close round.
You will now sew the large part of the cactus onto the bottom. Sew the side branches across the largest part of the cactus. Attach the flowers. This cactus is quite heavy. I filled my jar with a plastic bag and put a cardboard circle on top. With fabric glue I glued the bottom of the cactus to the cardboard. Keep it pressed down for a while so that it can dry for a bit and your cactus stays neatly in place.
