Leave a long thread for sewing. Now you have worked a long green piece with ribbing. You are going to sew the sides together first. Once you’ve done this, sew one side closed. You do this by sewing with some space between the stitches, alternately through the stitches and tighten your work. You really don’t need to pick up a lot of stitches for this, because you have to be able to pull the work completely closed to get the round shape.

Crochet pattern flower cactus 3
In color Yellow Jasper.
Round 1: In magic ring, 1 sc, 1 picot, repeat until you have 5 petals, finish with a sl st, pull loop and tie off.
Sew all parts of the cactus. I filled my jar with a plastic bag and put a cardboard circle on top. With fabric glue I glued the bottom of the cactus to the cardboard. Keep it pressed down for a while so that it can dry for a bit and your cactus stays neatly in place.
