Crochet Pattern Wallet
For the striped version of the wallet, I changed colors every 2 rows.
ch 23
Round 1
1 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, 1 sc in each of the next 20 ch, 2 sc in the last ch. Continue to the other side of the foundation chain. 1 sc into each of the next 21 ch, 2 sc into the last ch of the round. (46)

Round 2
Continue working in the round. 2 sc in the first stitch, 1 sc in each of the next 21 stitches, 2 sc in the next stitch, 1 sc into each of the next 23 stitches (48)
Round 3 – 17
48 sc around. Do not fasten off after row 17.

Wallet Flap
The flap is worked in rows. First, we’ll need to have 26 stitches evenly along one side. if it doesn’t line up perfectly, just add a couple of extra stitches in the same colour. Tip: place a stitch marker in the two centre stitches, then count 13 stitches from each marker to check that everything lines up neatly. Attach the white yarn at the point where the flap will begin. Do not turn your work yet.
Row 18
1 sc in each of the next 26 sc, turn.
From now on we will work in rows and turn after every row.

You’re now going to crochet single crochets around the edge of the flap. Attach your yarn to the side and work single crochets until you reach the center of the flap. To create a loop for the button ch 6. Then continue crocheting single crochets around the rest of the edge. If your button is a bit smaller or larger, feel free to adjust the number of chains so the loop fits nicely.
