Free Crochet Pattern Textured Potholders

As soon as I discovered this stitch, I knew it would be perfect for a potholder, so I immediately started working on a new pattern. The stitch is thick and durable, the fantastic texture ensures that your potholder is not only sturdy, but also provides extra grip. The pattern is a bit more advanced, but don’t worry, I’ll guide you with a video tutorial. Below you’ll find all the information and the crochet pattern to get started right away.

This crochet pattern is an original design by Lisa Geerts from Free-Crochet-Patterns.com. You’re welcome to share the link, but the pattern itself may not be copied, reproduced, or published anywhere else. This pattern is for personal, non-commercial use only. I’m able to offer it for free because it has not been formally tested

Work single crochets around your potholder. Work 1 sc in each stitch at the top and the bottom of the potholder. Work 1 sc, 1 ch, 1 sc at the corners. Along the sides of the potholder, alternate between 2 sc in the side of one row and 1 sc in the side of the next row.

Attach the cord at one of the corners, or make a loop by working a few chains at the corner.

I hope you had a great time making these potholders. I’d love to see how your potholders turned out. Drop me a message or tag me on the socials, so I can admire your work. Can’t wait to see it. Lisa
