How to crochet the Chevron Stitch

There are many chevron stitches you can crochet. This one uses only single crochet stitches, which makes it perfect for beginners. You can vary with colors by working every row in a new color and for example create a rainbow effect. With a color change, you get the best result if you work the first row of the new color in the back loops.

Chain a multiple of 15 + 2

  • Row 1: 2 sc in second ch, *6 sc, skip 2 stitches, 6 sc, 3 sc in next ch*, repeat between * and * until the last stitch, 2 sc in last ch. Turn.
  • Row 2: ch 1, 2 sc in first stitch, *6 sc, skip 2 stitches, 6 sc, 3 sc in next stitch*, repeat between * and * until the last stitch, 2 sc in last stitch. Turn.
  • Keep repeating row 2
