How to Crochet the Harmony Stitch

The Harmony Stitch is made up of several different stitches that blend beautifully together, that’s why I chose the name “Harmony Stitch.” This stitch is fairly straightforward to crochet, yet the alternating rows add enough variety to keep it engaging.
I designed a cosy winter set using this stitch. You can find the pattern for the Harmony Scarf here, and the matching Harmony Hat here.
In this tutorial, I’ll walk you through the first 5 rows step by step. After that, you can simply keep repeating rows 2 through 5 to continue. To begin the Harmony Stitch, make a foundation chain that is a multiple of 3, plus 1 extra chain.
