Crochet Knit-Look Garter Stitch

This is a super simple crochet stitch, with a knit-look texture. It is a nice dense stitch, which has a bit of stretch. A great stitch to use for a hat or a neat men’s scarf. Another way to describe this stitch is: Slip stitch in the front loops.

This stitch is suitable for beginners. However, you have to be make sure you crochet with an even tension, because an uneven tension will be more noticeable with this stitch. The stitch looks the same on both sides of your work.
