
The Open Chevron Stitch is a very easy stitch to crochet and therefore very suitable if you have not been crocheting for very long. I will explain how to crochet 2 rows. After the second row, you can continue working by repeating row 2.

Pattern Peephole Chevron Stitch
Chain a multiple of 10 + 3
Row 1
Skip 2 ch (count as 1 dc), 1 dc into each of the next 4 ch. *skip 2 ch, 1 dc in each of the next 4 ch, ch 2, 1 dc in each of the next 4 ch*. Repeat between * and * to the last 6 chains. Skip 2 ch, 1 dc into each of the next 3 ch, 2 dc into the last ch. Turn.
Row 2
Ch 3 (count as 1 dc), 1 dc into the first st, 1 dc in each of the next 3 stitches. *Skip 2 stitches, 1 dc into each of the next 3 stitches. Work into the chain-2 space: 1 dc, ch 2, 1 dc. 1 dc into each of the next 3 stitches*. Repeat between * and * to the last 6 stitches. Skip 2 stitches, 1 dc into each of the next 3 stitches, 2 dc into the top of the turning chain of the previous row. Turn.
Keep repeating row 2.
