How to Crochet the Sedge Stitch

How to Crochet the Sedge Stitch

The Sedge Stitch brings a beautiful, textured finish to any crochet project, whether you’re using a single color or experimenting with alternating colors. This versatile, beginner-friendly stitch uses only basic stitches. It creates a dense and cozy fabric, which makes it ideal for making warm cowls or snuggly baby blankets. The Sedge stitch is also known as the Cobblestone stitch.

I used this stitch for the crochet pattern of the Sedge Beanie.
