How to crochet the Star Stitch

The Star Stitch is such a unique and beautiful stitch. At the front of your work, this stitch will create this lovely star texture. The back side, is a lot less interesting to look at, so keep that in mind for projects that need both sides to look good.
Because it is a somewhat unusual stitch to crochet, I decided to only do a video tutorial of this stitch. Written instructions or a chart of this stitch aren’t very clear and might get too confusing. I don’t want you to get frustrated and give up on this awesome stitch.
I recommend watching the steps you need to take to crochet this stitch, before you start crocheting.
You will need to chain a multiple of 2 + 1 for this star stitch. In this tutorial, I will show you the first 3 rows. Keep repeating rows 2 and 3 until your work has reached the desired size.
