Chain a multiple of 4 + 5 extra

Row 1

3 dc in the 5th ch from the hook, skip 3 ch, 1 sc in the next ch. *ch 3, 3 dc in the same ch as the last sc, skip 3 ch, 1 sc in the next ch.* Repeat between * and * to the end of the row. Skip 3 ch and work 1 sc in the last ch. Turn.

Row 2

ch 4, 3 dc in the 4th ch from the hook, skip 4 stitches, 1 sc in the chain-3 space. *ch 3, 3 dc in the same chain-3 space as the sc, skip 4 stitches, 1 sc in the next chain-3 space.* Repeat between * and * to the end of the row. Skip 4 stitches, work 1 sc only in the last chain space. Turn.
