How to Crochet the Wavy Shell Stitch

How to Crochet the Wavy Shell Stitch

This shell stitch alternates between a row of shells and a row of single crochet worked in the front loop. Working in the front loop creates a nice wavy edge on one side. This is why I named this stitch the Wavy Shell Stitch.

This tutorial explains 3 rows, after 3 rows you can continue by repeating rows 2 and 3. Chain a multiple of 5 + 2 extra for this stitch. Or start with a multiple of 5 stitches + 1 stitch + 1 chain.

Stitches used in this tutorial: Chain (ch), Single Crochet (sc), Double crochet (dc)
