How to crochet Wave Stitch

This fantastic wave stitch has a very nice texture. This texture is created by working in the back loops.

After every 2 rows I changed color and I used 3 different colors. There is no need to fasten off after every color change. You can easily let the yarn run along the side of your work and crochet an edge over it afterward.

This tutorial explains 6 rows. You can keep repeating rows 3 to 6 to enlarge your work.

The stitches used in this tutorial: Chain stitch (ch), Slip Stitch (sl st) and Half Double Crochet (hdc).

Below you will find the video tutorial, the crochet chart and written instructions.
